This painting was a work that was more than ten years in the making.
It was recently on show in a group exhibition at the Vorres Museum in collaboration with the Spyropoulos Foundation in 2017-2018. 
The giant Stone Lion was inspired by the brilliant Playstation 2 video game "Shadow of the Colossus".
I've chosen egg-tempera and gold leaf as my media-of-choice because of the exemplary results of this wonderful technique.
